Art advice to local Rabobanks

For Rabobank, team Q is all over the country. Just recently, we tasted a well-deserved ‘Zundertse trappist’, a local brew from Van Gogh’s native village, after doing an inventory there. Since 2012, QKunst is preferred partner of the Rabobank art department for art-related advice to local banks.

‘Almost all the banks have been collecting art in the past decades. Due to organisational changes and an ever-decreasing number of offices, more and more art is kept in storage. Knowledge about how the collection was built is often no longer available’, says project manager Jet Vermaning.

‘To get insight in the collections, we do inventories and appraisals of the collections, that we then disclose in an online collection management application that we developed ourselves. We then give custom advice to each individual bank’, says Jet. Since the agreement, QKunst already visited a good half of the 103 local banks. ‘We notice that our work generates a greater consciousness when it comes to the value of the collections among the bank employees. That is very rewarding.’[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/6″ animation=”zoomIn” animation_delay=”0.2″ class=”col-sm-3 column-left”][vc_column_text]
