Part of QKunst’s services consists in finding new destinations for works that can no longer be displayed within the original collection. Searching for a fitting home takes time. There must be an intrinsic match, but also the possibility to sustainably manage and display a possible donation. Currently we are working on replacements at Rijksmuseum Amsterdam, Stedelijk Museum Schiedam, Textielmuseum Tilburg and the University of Amsterdam.

In the past years, for various clients, we successfully replaced works at Museum Het Domein, Museum Van Bommel Van Dam, Museum Valkenburg, Museum Het Valkhof, Rijksmuseum Twente, and Stedelijk Museum Kampen, among others. Very recently, we added Rijnstate hospital to the list. A monumental glass work by Eugène Terwindt will be included in the Rijnstate art collection. The physical transfer is in preparation.

Team: Véronique Baar, Maartje de Roy, Mijke Rummens and previously: Jet Vermaning
